Anonymous sharing app Secret got blasted by Marc Andreessen (without calling it by name). Now, Jason says, half of his close friends oppose it, and the other half invested. The Information's Jessica Lessin says this is the way forward, and whether VCs invest or not, apps like this are bound to continue. While Jason might call her a "techodeterminist," she may be right.

Github held the spotlight after a former developer and designer went public with allegations of sexist bullying and retaliation. Airbnb is raising half a billion dollars at a $10b valuation ahead of its likely IPO this year. Meanwhile, Uber and Lyft are capped at 150 drivers a piece at any given time in Seattle.

And in the Bing Launch of the Week: Nate Silver's Five Thirty Eight debuts at ESPN, Google announces Android Wear, and Neil Young is pushing for higher quality audio files in his Pomo Music Kickstarter.
