Elon Musk says Grok Bot will now hand each task to whichever AI model does it best — and Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5 is at the top of his list, alongside Midjourney and Suno. The same week, Anthropic opened its Claude Startups program to far more founders: a free year of Claude Team, API credits, and a bundle of partner perks.

So what happens when your biggest rival starts renting your model? And should founders take Anthropic's free deal, or is it the start of platform lock-in?
